It’s always great to get some positive feedback from those we undertake work for, and recently we’ve had some of our dedicated staff singled out for praise for going the ‘extra mile’ by our much-valued clients at the MoD.

RDM employees, Alan Haines, Richie Gore and Ellis John have received thanks from a senior ranking officer, Colonel Sion Walker DComd 160^th (Welsh) Brigade, while working at The Barracks in Brecon.

Our client was due to have a new painting unveiled in the Officers Mess at The Barracks, to commemorate the Battle of ‘s-Hertogenbosch in 1944 – with the unveiling being carried out by the Welsh First Minister, the Rt Hon Mark Drakeford, and with the Lord Mayor of ‘s-Hertogenbosch dialling in to attend remotely.

On the day in question, it was noted that the painting had not been secured in place ahead of the unveiling. So, at the end of his working day, Alan, Richie and Ellis stayed on to ensure the old painting that filled the space was safely removed, the electrical connections to the light were adjusted and the new painting mounted.

Our employees’ timely intervention ensured that the picture was safely and securely mounted on the wall in time to enable its prestigious unveiling.

Here at RDM, we would like to add our own praise and thanks to Alan, Richie and Ellis, who always carry out their daily duties at Brecon Cluster with a high degree of professionalism.

We also appreciate that many individuals working on the MoD contract also regularly go that ‘extra mile’ without being singled out for praise. Be assured that the professionalism of our staff does not go un-noticed. Professional pride in carrying out daily tasks is vital to maintaining RDM’s excellent reputation, and it is what helps set us apart from other sub-contractors.
